Please read and share this post to help make sure justice is achieved. Cookie, a Cavalier mix was beaten to death with a stick Monday May 11, 2015. According to a witness (a neighbor) she saw a person let him out of his back yard, and then chase him with a stick, eventually chasing him onto a porch, cornering him and beating him to death, totally unprovoked. If you know someone in the media, or the Ft. worth TX police dept. or animal control, please call and ask that this matter be investigated to the fullest. They have located the alleged party, though it’s not known what action will be taken. Under TX state law, a dog is “property”, but we want to make sure the case is prosecuted to the maximum amount allowed under the law, and a public outcry is the best way to accomplish that.
