New Rescues From the Cleburne Shelter

2 new foster babies from the Cleburne shelter, we will only have them one or 2 nights, until they transfer to another foster. I might keep the black & tan, as I’ve never had one, and I think Bentley is about to go away, he had a few parent interviews last week, and he’s trying to decide who he wants. (knowing he cant have me!) watch for these to be posted on the rescue site soon, as available for adoption.

They both are so precious! You’re like the “Last Chance Highway” for Cavaliers. Bless you for all of your great, compassionate work.

Look forward to hearing about your latest Cavalier addition through your blog and Facebook.

These are beautiful babies and it is incredible that the owner didn’t want them back. As my niece says, there is a special place in hell for people who mistreat animals. Thank you, again, Ron and dear Kathi for all you do for these dear Cavaliers.

Nicky (Lucky) has started doggy day care for a couple of hours each week and is loved by all the dogs and staff. He’s in the “gentle” group at our vet hospital’s Animal Lodge. Some of the dogs are really big but they like little guys. He comes home exhausted but with enough energy to still go after the cat! I wish I had a large yard so I could get another rescue–maybe when I move to Southern Colorado in the future.
