I don’t know how soft Dixie’s cone is but several years ago we found soft cones at either Petco or Petsmart. They are kind of like an inner tube and both Nicholas the First and his sister, Victoria, had to wear them when they started scratching. They actually didn’t mind them as they could lay their dear little Cavalier heads on the soft cushion. I love staying in touch via your website. Nicky (Lucky) is doing great and hasn’t tried to run away in over a year and a half. He now likes (not loves!) the cat and they really have fun chasing each other. He reminds me so much of Lance, just a little bigger. Kathy had told me initially that he was the prettiest Blenheim she had ever seen and he has just gotten even more handsome! He is beloved!
